New Google Geo Blog:

This new Google Blog will be relevant to follow as it's closely related to what we are doing at EveryTrail:

Google LatLong: A new world unfolding

The first post explains how Google is seeking to help organize and aggregate the geographic web. What it means for EveryTrail users is that when you upload GPS data and create a trip at EveryTrail, anyone doing a Google local search will be able to find your trip. Cool!

So get started at EveryTrail by creating a free account and signing creating your first trip. And check out the EveryTrail blog to stay up-to-date on the latest developments.

If you are interested in the future of he GeoWeb, I would checkout the GeoWeb 2007 conference being held in Vancouver July 23-27th. This is the second year of the GeoWeb conference and promises to be the key event for learning about and discussing the future of the GeoWeb. See http://www.geoweb.org for details.
